About us

Serving humanity with dignity and compassion since 1970

Deen Bandhu Samaj Trust was established in the year 1970 with the objective of serving the underprivileged and supporting those in need with dignity, compassion, and respect. Guided by the belief that mankind’s service is service to God, the Trust has remained committed to meaningful social service for over five decades.

In its initial years, the Trust focused on providing assistance to Sindhi widows and their families, addressing their needs through educational support, medical aid, and livelihood assistance. Several of these families continue to remain associated with the Trust even today, with many having achieved financial independence through skill-based activities such as tailoring and cooking. This long-standing association reflects the Trust’s emphasis on sustainable empowerment rather than short-term relief.

Over time, Deen Bandhu Samaj Trust expanded the scope of its activities to extend support to individuals and families from all communities who require assistance in the areas of education, healthcare, nutrition, and basic welfare. The Trust strongly believes that access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities plays a vital role in enabling long-term self-reliance and social upliftment.

In association with Heaven Old Age Care Centre, the Trust currently runs an old age home in Mulund, Mumbai, providing care, shelter, and support to 30 elderly residents. The facility focuses on creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for senior citizens. The Trust aspires to further expand this initiative by relocating to a larger facility with open spaces, aimed at enhancing the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the residents.

Additionally, Deen Bandhu Samaj Trust undertakes community welfare initiatives such as organizing Sewa Langar Seva for the needy in the Cuffe Parade and Colaba areas of Mumbai, in association with the Vaswani Mission. These initiatives embody the Trust’s core values of compassion, service, and inclusive community support.

Through its continued efforts in education, healthcare, elderly care, and community welfare, Deen Bandhu Samaj Trust remains dedicated to uplifting lives and strengthening communities with integrity, transparency, and empathy.
